I saw a black Takamine that sounds beautiful and is made in Japan and retails around $1,400 and another that is made in Korea that costs $850 retail Takamine? Any thoughts? Cause Im trying to get a guitar that I am starting out with I have already been through a cheap $99 guitar that I hardly even played and it started cracking down and breaking on me and I just want a guitar that is going to last that I can take to the next level if I want it to. I really don't care about electric acoustic or anything I just want a good guitar. If you could help me decide if the price is right they are offering 30% off on both of those guitars. Again Thanks for any advice.
either Takamine will be durable and last decades as long as they are not kept in a wet basement or anything silly. the korean and japan made are both solid.
get the one that sounds best
Hi! I actually have 3 Questions:
What is the guitar capo used for?
When do you know when to use it in a song?
Do Electric Guitars Use Capos?
I've never seen a Electric guitar with a capo.
A capo is used to change (raise) the key of your open chords.
A capo is most commonly used by guitar players that aren't good at barre chords, or for guitar riffs that require open strings in a key other than where open strings are available.
(In a barre chord you use your fore-finger as a capo)
A capo can be used on an electric as well. Even though it's electric, it's still a guitar (same rules). Most famous people you see performing with electric guitars know barre chords and don't need a capo.
I have guitar hero 2 and rock band, is it possible to play guitar hero 2 using both the guitar provided by guitar hero and the one provided by rock band?
If so, how?
I don't think GH will work with the RB guitar, though it will work the other way around. Because GH was made first (by Red Octane), they didn't have to worry about compatibility with other peripherals, and since RB came out later (Harmonix), they made the decision to be compatible so that you could use guitar controllers you already had.
I guess it can't hurt to try, but I don't think the RB Fender will work for GH. And like pp mentioned, if you're playing on the 360, you can plug in both USBs, but not sure if that'll work if you're on PS2.
I want a baby guitar. I noticed Taylor Guitars sells them for around 400. But I don't have enough money. What other manufacturer makes good baby guitars?
If you want a real good sounding, smaller scale guitar, then check out Luna Guitars.
We tested about 50 of them and the sound projection, finish and quality was surprising . They are inexpensive and specially made for those who prefer a smaller guitars, want a big sound, and a guitar with a special finish.

Don't kid yourself, this is not a toy. it is a real guitar.
Is there a guitar that is a normal acoustic guitar when played without an amp, but when it's plugged into an amp can play like an electric guitar? If there is such a thing whats the name and highest and lowest estimated price for it? Thanks so much guys.
If you play gitar loud enuf U can heer all the vibratins from the stringz evin if u dont want to git a amp machine as long as the gitarr haz a hollo areah 2 alow souund pentraton thru the body of gitar. but that for toy gitar,,,,,,,if u have reel gitar yu can canactt it 2 the amp masheen to giv morr powre and soundd
